Today was a great day for our TEAM. This morning after waking up at a leisurely 8:00am, we met with our missionary at 9:00am for introductions and our briefing for the day.
Today was Children's Carnival Day and we we're up for the task. By 10:00 am we began meeting with the children and we played lots of games. Our goal was to try to keep the parents around instead of allowing them to drop off their kids and run so we could visit with them too. We were able to make several new relationships and three families promised to be at church in the morning. Please pray for this happen. We have Potluck Dinner after church so this might seal the deal for the visitors.
After lunch we were taken on a trail walk by one of the members of the church "Janice", a student from South Africa. It had to be one of the most beautiful of forests; so lush and densely vegetated. We ate Salmon Berries and Huckle Berries that we picked along the trail. Quite delicious!
Here are a few pictures taken by the TEAM.
Lots of rain most of the day but the clouds cleared long enough to give us a glimpse of the magnificent beauty of the region. Wow!
Please pray for us tomorrow. We will be in church worship services three times. 11:30 at The Point Church, 2:00pm at a Chinese Church and back to the Point Church in the evening for Student and Young Adult Church/ multi-sensory service. (more details on this tomorrow)
Blessings,
Your Canada Team

Hey Mi Familia,
This trip has been amazing and I am really learning a lot about the culture here and growing stronger in my relationship with God. It is absolutely gorgeous up here!
