We will embark on a multi year journey that will lead into the 2010 Winter Olympics at Vancouver British Columbia.
We leave with a small lead team of 9 individuals: Amie and Ryan Franklin, Matt and Jordan Crider, Carissa Matthews, Rebecca Black, Betsy Kinch, Silas Thompson, and John Martinez.
These committed individuals will meet with our missionaries Kelly and Jeanne Manire in Burnaby, BC Canada this Friday to begin that multi-year relationship.
This is a overview of what is planned for us this week:
- Friday 5:30am Depart to Canada
- 7:30am Stop in Boise and meet Pastor Paul for Prayer
- Arrive in Burnaby around 6:00pm Burnaby Time for BBQ dinner with SFU students and Manires
- Saturday - Children's Carnival "Kick-Off"/We are given assignments by the Missionaries we will also begin canvassing and distributing invitation fliers through the area.
- Sunday - Morning Worship with church families/ Potluck Dinner with Church/ Evening Services with Students and Young Adults.
- Monday - Spend Time with the Manire's on their "TRANSIT" exploring the city. Brainstorming session about our multi-year partnership and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
- Tuesday - TBA (check our BLOG)
- Wednesday - Travel back to US
- Thursday - Arrive home early Thursday morning. ETA = TBA (check BLOG)
